Back Yard Tree

The joy of having a good tree in your backyard is something I never expected to appreciate so much.

When we moved into our home, it was one of the first things I loved about the backyard, a good tree for swings, for the kids to climb, and for memories to be made beneath its branches. So far, this tree has given us all of that.

This view was taken from our living room window. I was sitting on the couch one afternoon when I noticed part of the tree catching the sunlight. It was such a simple moment, but it brought me joy.

I wanted to capture it and hold onto a little bit of that light for a rainy day.
