Inspired by Exodus 3, and a previous piece titled He Descended, this artwork reflects the moment Moses encounters the angel of the Lord in a bush that burns but is not consumed. It speaks of a God who meets us where we are—whether in despair, distraction, or the wilderness.
This piece is a reminder of God’s character and presence: I AM—the One who was, who is, and who always will be. Just as Jesus said, “Before Abraham was, I am,” this work points to the eternal God who hears our cries, calls us by name, and draws us toward a land flowing with milk and honey—a place of deep belonging, beauty, and restoration.
The I AM meets you in Midian. In the wilderness, He comes—calling, satisfying, and restoring. He is the God who meets you where you are.
