Sometimes our vision is blurred—by loss, by transition, or by inner wrestling. When the unknown knocks at our door, it can feel like walking through a fog. This past month at the Mata household has been just that: unexpected valleys, deep grief, and moments of confusion.
And yet—light shines through.
Even in the valley of the shadow of death, the Light of Christ has guided us, gently but surely. This image captures what we’ve been living: hardship, loss, and blurred vision met with unexpected grace. We’ve had to put into practice what we believe about suffering well—some things held true, others were tested.
Have you ever had a foggy morning like that? One filled with the hope of a new day, yet your view is clouded? Maybe the light has broken through… or maybe you’re still waiting. Wherever you are, may the peace of God be with you.
