Las Torres de Satélite

One of my favorite memories as a kid was my first trip to Mexico City with my dad. It was loud, new smells, new foods, and beautiful architecture. We were in the car when these towers caught my eye. They were one of the most impressive things I had ever seen, especially as kid from Albemarle,NC. From that moment on the work of Luis Barragán stayed with me. Now, it’s a fun memory of time spent with my dad and an inspiration for a lot of my artistic and architectural endeavors. Oil Pastel on 7.2x10 Pastel Paper.
